You drew it, but coloring and shading take hours, or the right paints aren’t on your desk. Drawever’s Drawing Enhancer turns a pencil sketch into a finished piece in one of six art styles. It keeps your composition, subjects, poses and linework, and only adds color, shading and texture.
How it works
- Photograph or scan your drawing. Any common image format works.
- Open Drawing Enhancer and upload it.
- Pick a style (see below).
- Generate. Your finished artwork comes back in seconds.
There’s no prompt to write. The style does the work.
The six styles
| Style | What it looks like | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Watercolor | Soft, translucent washes with gentle color bleeds | Landscapes, animals, botanical sketches |
| Colored Pencil | Layered strokes, your lines stay visible | Portraits, detailed drawings, kids’ art |
| Oil Painting | Rich color and visible texture | Portraits, still life, dramatic scenes |
| Soft Pastel | Soft, chalky blends | Skies, flowers, quiet scenes |
| Acrylic | Bold, saturated color | Pop art, posters, bright illustrations |
| Professional Marker | Clean fills and crisp edges | Comics, character design, product sketches |
Not sure? Run the same sketch in two styles. At 1 credit each, it costs less than a pencil.
Tips for better results
- Shoot in daylight, straight on. Shadows and a tilted page confuse the AI. Lay the paper flat and hold the phone parallel to it.
- Crop to the drawing. Cut out the desk, your hand and the edge of the sketchbook.
- Clean lines win. Erase guidelines you don’t want colored, and darken the lines you do.
- One subject reads best. A single character or object gets more detail than a busy page of doodles.
Refine with Edit
Like the colors but not everything? Press Edit under the result and describe the change: “make the sky purple”, “add a sunset behind the house”, “make her dress red”. Each edit costs 1 credit and only changes what you ask for. More in our guide to editing with text.
Ideas to try
- Kids’ drawings as a framed watercolor for grandparents.
- Comic panels inked by hand, finished in Professional Marker.
- Concept sketches turned into color studies before you paint for real.
- Prints and gifts: enhance, then upscale 4x with the Image Upscaler (1 credit) so it stays sharp on paper.
Pricing
Each enhancement costs 1 credit with the Drawever model. You can also pick another AI model from the menu, and each shows its price first. Try it once without an account, or create a free account for free credits, no card needed. Images made with free credits carry a small watermark; any purchase removes it and includes commercial rights. Credit packs start at $5 for your first purchase, and credits never expire.
