Recording a voiceover means a quiet room, a good microphone and several takes. Drawever’s Text to Speech skips all of that: paste your script, choose a voice, and download the audio.
How it works
- Paste your text. Up to 5,000 characters per generation.
- Pick a language. 23 languages have voices, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian and Turkish.
- Pick a voice. Each voice has a sample you can play first, so you hear it before you spend a credit.
- Pick an emotion. Auto, Happy, Sad, Angry, Fearful, Disgusted, Surprised, Calm, Fluent or Neutral. Auto reads the mood from your text.
- Generate and download the audio.
How many voices?
There are more than 300 voices in total. The big languages have the most choice: Portuguese, Korean, Spanish, English and Mandarin each have dozens. Others, like Dutch, Arabic and German, have two or three. Play the samples for your language to find the one that fits.
What it costs
You pay by length: 1 credit per 150 characters, with a minimum of 1 credit.
| Text | Length | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| A short social caption | about 150 characters | 1 |
| A 30-second ad script | about 450 characters | 3 |
| A 250-word video script | about 1,500 characters | 10 |
| The maximum per generation | 5,000 characters | 34 |
Credit packs start at $5 for your first purchase, and credits never expire.
Tips for natural results
- Punctuation is your director. Commas add short pauses, full stops add longer ones. Break long sentences in two.
- Write numbers and abbreviations the way you’d say them. “Twenty twenty-six” or “2026” can sound different; test the one you need.
- Test one sentence first. It costs 1 credit and tells you if the voice and emotion fit before you run the whole script.
- Match the emotion to the moment. Calm for meditation and tutorials, Happy for ads, Surprised for a hook.
Ideas to try
- YouTube and TikTok narration for faceless channels.
- Product demos and ads in several languages from one script.
- Course and training audio that’s easy to update: change the text, generate again.
- Language practice: hear a sentence read by a native-sounding voice.
Free try and rights
Try it once without an account (up to 150 characters), or create a free account for free credits, no card needed. Audio made after any purchase includes commercial rights, so you can use it in videos, ads and client work.
