A virtual influencer is a character who doesn’t exist but posts like someone who does: a café on Monday, a beach on Friday, a new outfit every week. The hard part is keeping the same face in every picture. Drawever’s Virtual Influencer tool splits the job in two: first you build an actor, then you put that actor into as many scenes as you like.
Step 1: Build your actor
Open Virtual Influencer and start a new actor. Give them a name, and optionally a short description of who they are. Then choose their look from 9 trait categories:
| Category | Options |
|---|---|
| Gender | Female, Male |
| Origin | African, American Indian, Asian, European, Indian, Middle Eastern |
| Body shape | Curvy, Heavy, Lean, Muscular, Skinny |
| Eye shape | Almond, Hooded, Monolid, Protruding, Round |
| Eye color | 8 colors, from black and brown to honey, grey and mint |
| Nose | 9 shapes |
| Lips | 8 shapes |
| Hairstyle | 10 for women, 12 for men, from a pixie or French braid to a taper fade or dreadlocks |
| Beard | 13 styles for men, or none |
There’s also a personal touch field for one detail the menus don’t cover, like “freckles” or “a small scar above the left eyebrow”.
Generate, and you get a photorealistic portrait. Not quite right? Change a trait and generate again. Creating an actor costs 2 credits.
Step 2: Put your actor in scenes
Your actors are saved in the actor bar. Select one, describe a scene, and generate:
- “sitting in a Paris café, morning light, holding a coffee”
- “running on a beach at sunset, sportswear”
- “on stage at a tech conference, speaking into a microphone”
Each scene starts from your actor’s portrait, so the face stays the same from post to post. Pick the aspect ratio first: 9:16 for Stories and Reels, 4:5 for the Instagram feed, 16:9 for YouTube thumbnails. Each scene costs 2 credits.
Step 3: Polish and animate
- Edit any scene with a text instruction, like “change the jacket to red” or “add sunglasses” (1 credit). See our guide to editing with text.
- Press Video under a scene to make your character move and talk for 5 seconds. A Draft works with free credits; HD comes with any credit pack. Our guide to Drafts and HD explains the difference.
Tips for a believable character
- Write a short backstory first. Age, city, job, hobbies. It tells you which scenes make sense.
- Keep a visual signature. The same hairstyle, a favorite color or a recurring place makes the account recognizable.
- Reuse the same actor. Don’t build a new actor for each post; select the saved one.
- Label it as AI. Many platforms ask you to disclose AI-generated people, and followers trust an account that’s open about it.
Pricing
- New actor: 2 credits.
- Each scene: 2 credits.
- You can also pick another AI model from the menu; each shows its price first.
The tool needs a free account, which comes with free credits, no card needed. Images made with free credits carry a small watermark. Any purchase removes it and includes commercial rights, so you can use your character for brand and client work. Credit packs start at $5 for your first purchase, and credits never expire.
