Drawever’s image tools have a model menu (only the upscaler and background remover use one fixed model). The default is the Drawever model, at 1 credit per image. When a job needs more, you can switch to a well-known model and pay its price from the same credit balance. There’s no extra subscription and no API key to set up.
The models and what they cost
| Model | Credits per image | Where you’ll find it |
|---|---|---|
| Drawever | 1 (2 in Virtual Influencer) | All tools with a model menu |
| Nano Banana | 3 | All tools with a model menu |
| Nano Banana 2 Lite | 3 | All tools with a model menu |
| Qwen Edit Plus | 3 | Tools that start from your photo |
| Wan Pro | 3 | Text to Image, Virtual Influencer portraits |
| GPT Image | 4 | All tools with a model menu |
| Flux Max | 5 | All tools with a model menu |
| Nano Banana 2 (2K) | 8 | All tools with a model menu |
| Nano Banana Pro | 11 | All tools with a model menu |
“Tools that start from your photo” means Photo to Anime, Image Editor, Hair Color Changer, Drawing Enhancer and Virtual Influencer scenes. The menu always shows the price before you generate.
When to switch
Start with the Drawever model. It handles most portraits, anime conversions and simple edits, and at 1 credit it’s the cheapest way to try ideas. Switch when the result isn’t there:
- The edit missed a detail. Run the same instruction with Nano Banana or Qwen Edit Plus (3 credits). Both are made for editing photos, and a second model often gets what the first missed.
- You need more resolution. Nano Banana 2 renders at 2K (8 credits), useful for prints and close crops.
- There’s text in the image. For posters, labels and signs, try GPT Image (4 credits), which is known for following long instructions and spelling words correctly.
- Photorealism matters. Flux Max (5 credits) is Black Forest Labs’ top model.
- The hardest jobs. Nano Banana Pro (11 credits) is Google’s most capable image model. Save it for edits the others can’t get right.
A simple rule: try it on Drawever first, then step up only if you need to. Ten tries on the Drawever model cost less than one on Nano Banana Pro.
What your credits buy
A $25 pack has 600 credits. That’s:
- 600 images on the Drawever model, or
- 200 on Nano Banana, or
- 75 on Nano Banana 2 at 2K, or
- 54 on Nano Banana Pro.
You can mix them freely: same balance, any model, any tool.
Free credits and models
With a free account, you can use any image model your free credits cover. Images made with free credits carry a small watermark, whichever model you pick. Any purchase removes it and includes commercial rights.
Video models
Image to Video has its own menu: Drawever Draft (5 credits, works with free credits), Drawever HD (10), Grok (18), MiniMax H3 (28 at 768p, 46 at 2K) and Wan 2.7 R2V (35). Everything except the Draft needs a credit pack. Our guide to Drafts and HD explains the difference.
Try it
Open Text to Image, write one prompt, and run it on two models side by side. Credit packs start at $5 for your first purchase, and credits never expire.
